Linax Brown Decking
In the Fredriksskans project, the planned street network is expanded with a new green area designed for activities and to create new connections between different parts of the city. Urban and park life blend together to create a diverse and compact urban environment.
The location of the new quarter is characterized today by its proximity to Malmfjärden, several beautiful landmarks, clear architecture, and a consistent material palette. The new buildings have a strong focus on health and mobility and will include both rental apartments and condominiums. The buildings are carefully integrated with the adjacent park area and harmoniously fit into both the urban and recreational environments.

The wooden facade is made of cedar and was supplied by Ceos, with certain parts of the facade treated with fire retardant.
Bitus supplied Linax Brown for all laminated timber columns on the facade, as well as all the decking on balconies, terraces, outdoor areas, and the rooftop terrace.
The client is Grenåli-Gruppen, and the contractor is Multibygg Sydost.
