Villa Applaudden is a beautiful architect designed villa with Linax Natural as a façade panel and a wooden roof – also called a drop roof. The villa is designed as a “barn house” with an angle.

The villa is located near the sea and the cladding and roof will get a nice weather-grey tint over time. To give a more natural feel, there are mixed dimensions of the cladding in an irregular pattern.

“We made the choice of details in silver grey so that it will fit well with the cladding when it turns grey over time”.

At first, the idea was to build a patio in concrete, but with the passion for the material Linax, the decision fell on Linax – to have a common thread throughout the project and use Linax as decking as well.

“We are so pleased that we decided on a wooden roof and the cladding is like the rest of the house with Linax linseed oil impregnated to stand the Swedish climate near the sea.”.
