The vision behind the Niwa project was to collaborate with Helsingborg Municipality to address the city’s housing shortage. Most cities in Sweden currently possess large unused land areas that could be directly utilised for housing construction if not for the time-consuming and often uncertain detailed planning processes. Rehouse liberated these lands in Helsingborg to enable rapid housing construction through temporary building permits. We are able to carry out such projects thanks to our building system consisting of easily movable and reusable modules that are simple to assemble, disassemble, and transport.

The residences are characterized by innovative and sleek architectural design with exclusive material choices. The building is surrounded by an elevated Japanese garden where trees, bamboo, and shrubs create a tranquil space. The new residences bring in more people to the area, contributing to activity and a sense of security in the vicinity.
