Bitus offers a wide range of wood solutions with different treatments. In addition to traditional high pressure-impregnated wood protection in various standards, Bitus are the sole producer of Linax, double wood preservative-treated timber. Bitus is also producing Fire Retardant and Thermo-heat treated timber products.

Linax.

This superior, linseed oil treated timber makes for a longer-lasting product and carries an extended 12- year product warranty. Linax is also guaranteed against rot for 50 years and has extended maintenance intervals. Linax cladding is FSC certified and made from Swedish pine.

Thermo.

Is a heat treatment that is done completely without added chemicals, which is done by heating the wood under a vacuum to over 200 °C. The high temperature causes a series of chemical and physical changes to start within the wood. The result is a product that is more dimensionally stable and above all more resistant to rot.

Fire retardant wood with the highest classification. Bitus is able to offer fire retardant on many different types of wood. Our chemicals used are 100% natural.
