Linax Brown
When Kristiina and Andreas created their new home together with Hem1, they were looking for a façade material that would feel natural and full of character while blending seamlessly into the surroundings. As soon as they saw Linax Brown, they were immediately drawn to both the feel of the wood and the warm colour. The fact that the material is supplied pre-treated and ready for installation made the choice even easier.
One detail Kristiina and Andreas particularly appreciate is how the house responds to the changing seasons. The natural character of the wood shifts with the light and surroundings, while the warm brown tone remains inviting throughout the year.
The practical qualities of the façade were also important in their decision. Linax requires relatively little maintenance, which was one of the reasons they chose the material in the first place. But above all, it is the finished result that has convinced them.
“We are so pleased with the result that we want to continue building with Linax Brown. We simply cannot get enough of it!”
If they were to do the project again today, the choice would therefore be simple: Linax again, and preferably in the same warm brown colour.
“We saw Linax Brown and fell in love with it. When we also learned that the material was pre-treated and ready for installation, the choice was easy.”
“The wood feels wonderfully alive, and the brown tone adds a natural splash of colour to the surroundings. It is also fantastic to see how the house changes with the seasons while always retaining its warm character.”
“We simply cannot get enough of Linax Brown. If we were to choose again, it would definitely be Linax, and preferably in the same colour.”
