In project A-Frame, four architect-designed houses will be built in interaction with nature. Placement will be in a scenic environment north of Kalmar on Revsudden.
A major goal of the project is to make these houses blend in as much as possible with the surrounding nature. This place has many cairns, old stone walls and older trees that should remain untouched.
The road to the cottages will be adapted to the terrain, as will the locations of the houses. Inside, the ceiling height up to the ridge reaches a whopping 6.6 metres.
Linax grey works well as both cladding and decking. A great combination, which weaves the project together.
The family had decided to sell their house and live in an apartment. But when they heard about the project, they couldn’t resist it. They have long been inspired by A-frame houses and attracted by that architecture.
Now they have finally landed in their dream home, their “hut” in the middle of nature.
